祈りの山・書寫山圓教寺―兵庫県姫路市―

古くから聖なる山として人々の尊崇を集めてきた書寫山。山上にある書寫山圓教寺は、千年余り前、性空上人によって開かれた古刹で、比叡山、大山と並ぶ天台宗三大道場のひとつです。

Since ancient times, Shoshazan has been worshiped by many people as a holy mountain. Shoshazan Engyoji-Temple at the top of the mountain is an old temple established by Saint Shoku more than a thousand years ago. It is one of the Three Tendai Buddhist Centers along with Hieizan and Daisen.
